It was just a commendable fit for a fleeting pause in Como with excellent value for money. The location was perfect for walking to sites like the Duomo and ferry. Request a room away from the back alley to avoid noise.

The position opposite the lake and the ferry terminal is excellent. The breakfast was also very good and served on a nice outdoor terrace. Most of the staff were helpful. The cocktail lounge looked lovely although we didn't have a chance to venture in.
I booked the 'best available' option and on checking in found they had given us the worst possible room with twin beds. Went back to the front desk and said it was unsatisfactory and we were offered a better room with a double bed. I felt it was the usual trick of 'give them the worst possible room and see if they complain'. Not sure I'd risk the 'best available' option again.

This hotel is well placed but suffers at present from work along the lake front. The superior double room would have been a good single room by four-star standards.

The room was lovely and the facilities were excellent. The availability of the restaurant on the terrace was a god send for tired travellers like us. We had a wonderful meal and the service was friendly and efficient. Thank you.
The view of the lake was quite limited from this room. Perhaps it could be more accurately described as "lake glimpses!"

We deeply enjoyed the fine decor and vibrant ambiance of the hotel. The prime location made it easy for us to explore nearby attractions, including the charming waterfront. The spacious room reminded me of a perfect escape for my wife and me .
My wife says that the noise from outside was disruptive at night.

My wife and I especially the warm greetings of the reception whenever we we step into the hotel.. to retrieve our keys or deposit them... the great attention to our service requests by any staff member that we might chance upon be they kitchen staff, reception or the chambermaids.. and not least the value for money breakfast spread plus the generous and warm service by the waitresses who promptly attend to guests in attendance..

It is centrally located next to the OldTown and within 5 mins walking distance to the railway station ,San Giovanni Como, which brings one to the Foxtown Factory Outlet. The breakfast is a decent spread for Italian standards. The rooms are comfrotable and they gave us a room overlooking the lake although we had paid for one without ( the room with lake view was not on offer).
